Be Bold, Be Brave

So, today has been an interesting day for me. The resounding theme that kept coming up for me is to keep pushing, keep going. I’m not sure about you, but for me, I often have feelings of defeat and fear. Sometimes they get the best of me, but many times I push myself to do whatever it is to overcome my fears or anxieties. In my mind, there has to be more for me, so I continue to push through. Any who, as I read an email this morning it reminded me to dream big! Then, as I was driving home from work, I heard a song on the radio that resonated with me called B!G by Pastor Mike Jr. This song reminded me that what is to come are going to be big. It is in these moments when I see God shining through, encouraging me and reminding me of his word that says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV.

I’m taking this time to remind you of these same things, keep pushing, keep going, even when those feelings show up, disregard and keep moving. There are times when you have to be bold and be brave. You owe it to yourself to be your best self. Your future self will thank you later. So, be bold and start that business, be brave and launch that new idea.

I’ve been blessed to be given ideas for books. I’ve started writing all of them but have yet to finish one. For me, I do better being accountable to someone, so I came up with the idea to start an accountability group for writers. The idea is to be in a group of people that can share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and most importantly hold each other accountable to established goals. I’ve had this idea for months now, but recently held myself accountable by just coming up with a date and scheduling the event. And I did it! Although I’m super nervous about it, I made the first step forward and put it out there. One step in the right direction. I had to be bold and be brave. And you too can do the same! This is only the beginning for me, there’s so much more that will come for me and you. We have to continue to be bold and brave! You’ve got this!
