    Who Runs This Show?

    When I was in college our Madame President (as we called her), would remind us of our power when she would address the school, by asking the question, “Who Runs This Show,” our response, “We Run This Show.” The chant would go a couple times, the energy that came from this chant left us with a sense of pride and respect, we could conquer the world!     Friends, How Many of Us Have Them?

    I truly believe God can use anything or anyone to get a message through to his people, including movies. I recently went to see the movie Girls Trip, beyond being hysterically funny (I mean I laughed my behind off lol), it had good back story. Friends, how many of us have them?     Have you ever had someone to do you so wrong that you decide, “you know what, I’m done with you?” Like they did you real dirty, you know the unforgivable dirty, you know! Lol. As a Christian we are all striving to be more like Jesus, we are are striving to be more loving, forgiving, non-judgmental, you know all of those things and then some.     Who Comes First??

    Recently I saw the movie, The Shack, great movie by the way, I recommend you seeing it, if you haven’t seen it already. There was a certain part of the movie in which Mack (the leading role) walked on water with Jesus. He was able to successfully do it with Jesus, but when he tried on his on he was unable to do it. In that moment, there was a reminder that we must include Jesus in all areas of our lives in order for us to live our best lives.
