Satisfied

I was riding in the car headed to work the other day, listening to music. One of my favorite songs came on, Satisfied by the Walls Group. It’s amazing how many times you can listen to something, and each time it has a different effect. This particular day as I drove and listened to this song, it was such a blessing to me. We all struggle with different things in our lives that we are striving to overcome. God will send a word to you that is truly timely. This day, this song reminded me that at the end of the day it’s truly about loving and honoring God, all the temporary things we desire doesn’t matter as much. The house you desire, the marriage, the dream job, all of those things are great, but a relationship with God matters most. He is the source, our provider, our help, we must keep him as our focus. The other things will come and go, they are temporary. When you pass away, you won’t be able to take those things with you. Contentment is something that we must all learn to be better. Be content with where you are and what you have, the other blessings will come but even if it doesn’t come, you’re still blessed.
