Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hosting a book discussion of the book, The Art of Finishing by Var Kelly. The discussion was absolutely great and of course, after, it made me think. One of the questions asked in our discussion was to share something that we had started, but not yet finished. If you are like me you took a long, deep sigh and realized, there’s a list. LOL. As I ponder on our conversation from yesterday and recognizing today is the first of July, the thought came to mind, New Beginnings. We all miss the mark from time to time, but with each new day, new month, new year, we have the opportunity to start again. Now, we cannot continue to put off tomorrow what we can do today, but we can live in the moment; making the most of every moment and when we miss the mark, start again.
So today, I am challenging you to re-evaluate that “thing” you have yet to finish and begin to devise a plan on how you can finish it. While you at it, check out the book, The Art of Finishing, to learn more about what it takes to finish. We are all good at starting, but how can we ensure that we finish. Today is a great day to start again!
