A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with a wonderful group of ladies. I was able to sit in their presence and soak up all the wisdom they had to share. Do you ever have to put yourself in check? Let’s say you have a negative thought, or maybe you say something you should not have said, or you have ill thoughts towards someone because of something they said or did, or perhaps you had a thought of judgement? Family is Everything!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending my family reunion. Anyone that knows me knows I love family and friends too, but it’s something about family. It seems each year our reunion gets better and better; this year was no different. We had an amazing time filled with love, laughs, explorations, and great pride of our heritage. One of my cousins was able to trace our family’s lineage further than we have previously known and he reminded us of our great legacy. Life Spoken through Your Words
I’ve been reading this devotion called, Words they become you. It’s been absolutely wonderful to read. Isn’t it something to know the things you say has on impact on you. The most recent devotion speaks of speaking to your dead situation. The devotion spoke about the prophet Ezekiel in the Bible and the valley of dry bones. He was able to speak over the bones and the bones came to life. Great example for us and our situations.
