    Life Spoken through Your Words

I’ve been reading this devotion called, Words they become you. It’s been absolutely wonderful to read. Isn’t it something to know the things you say has on impact on you. The most recent devotion speaks of speaking to your dead situation. The devotion spoke about the prophet Ezekiel in the Bible and the valley of dry bones. He was able to speak over the bones and the bones came to life. Great example for us and our situations. In the midst of our dead situations, we feel it’s hopeless but this scripture reminds us, God gives hope to a hopeless situation; with him all things are possible. I hope you…

    Patiently Waiting…

I was driving home from a concert the other night and as I was driving I followed the signs, but there was one point I began to question where I was going because it didn’t look right. I had driven this same road several times before but at this one point it didn’t seem like I was on the right road. It’s never easy to take the road back to something from your past, which you’ve overcome and been forgiven. There’s a struggle in our minds, we mentally go back to that place. While we take the journey back down the road of struggle, we come to understand exactly how God blessed us in “that” situation. We were able to get out of “it” and build ourselves up to be the great person we…

    Start Again: New Beginnings

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hosting a book discussion of the book, The Art of Finishing by Var Kelly. The discussion was absolutely great and of course, after, it made me think. One of the questions asked in our discussion was to share something that we had started, but not yet finished. If you are like me you took a long, deep sigh and realized, there’s a list. LOL. As I ponder on our conversation from yesterday and recognizing today is the first of July, the thought came to mind, New Beginnings. We all miss the mark from time to time, but with each new day, new month, new…
