    As we quickly approach 2020, I felt the need for me to share something with you that has been on my mind and I know we can’t take it into 2020, negative thoughts. We all have them from time to time, maybe some more than others, but the thoughts come. Negative thoughts come to most people; and you can’t always control them coming, however, you can control them staying.     Last night as I was trying to go to sleep, I had this vision of someone trying to move forward, they were moving but going no where fast. I realized they were not going anywhere because there was something pulling them from behind. Instantly I thought, what’s holding me back?     Pivot & Learn

    It’s so interesting when I started my blog the idea of breaking barriers came to mind, but the more I live it out the more I come to understand that term so much more. As life occurs, I recognize how often we face obstacles in our lives and the measures we take to get pass them. The word that comes to mind through all of this is pivot.     “Fear is Your Enemy!”

    Last weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing the movie, Harriett. Great movie, if you have not already seen it, I suggest you go see it. As I was leaving out of the theater, I was in such deep thought. I was greatly compelled to take notes from the movie and apply it to my life. One quote in the movie that stood out the most to me was, “fear is your enemy.” Many times we allow fear to get in the way of our success.
