Recently, I’ve noticed a new holiday popping up, Galentine’s Day, and I had no clue what it was or meant. Confession, my initial thought was that it was for the guys (hahaha), but yesterday I decided to actually look it up and found it very interesting and right up my alley. I learned Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day to celebrate all your female friends. Apparently, it was made up by a character on a TV show called Parks and Recreation. Who’s in Your Circle?
I had a conversation with a friend recently and we were talking about homeownership. We spoke about it as a normal occurrence, that everyone did. What seemed normal to us we quickly realized was not as normal as we thought. We recognized that it was normal for us because of the people within our circle. The people within our circle were homeowners or moving to that point. Now, I recognize this isn’t the case for most people, however it made me aware of something, who’s in your circle?
