    The Dash

I attended my first funeral post-Covid (and my dad’s funeral) and I made it through! As I was sitting there listening to the eulogy, I began to think of the dash. You know the dash between the day you were born and the date you will pass away. What are you doing with your dash?  I know we don’t necessarily like to think of our death, but that day is inevitable. When the day comes, what will be said about you? Quitting is Not an Option!

They say anything worth having is worth working for, however, when you’re going through it, you’re like, “yeah, yeah, whatever” *insert eye roll* lol. In school, I always had to work hard. Then, as I was driving home from work, I heard a song on the radio…

I had seen the episode of I love Lucy many times before when Lucy went to go stomp grapes at a vineyard in Italy. I love that episode. Ever since watching it, I’ve wanted to stomp grapes just like Lucy. As I put my feet down into the grapes, the initial feeling was slimy, not fun. But it was the experience right? As I began to “stomp” the grapes I realized it’s not as easy…
