I was riding in the car listening to the radio and the song, Jireh by Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship came on, one of my favorite songs. As the song was playing, I was thinking of what I could write a blog post about. I had been feeling the desire to write something for Holy Week. But I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write about. Love is
This morning I had the opportunity to watch/listen to the sermon of the #royalwedding, and oh what a treat it was. The Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry reminded us of the power of love! Scripture tells us, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV).” If we all walked in love what would this world be…
