It’s Okay to Ask for Help!

A moment of transparency *sigh*, I do not like asking for help! There, I said it! Lol. Now, there are times when I feel a little better when asking: 1) I’m asking someone to whom I am close to or comfortable with, 2) I absolutely have to (I suck it up). There are times when I mess up royally, and in those times it makes it even more difficult to ask; not because I have a hard time admitting my faults, but because I don’t feel others should be dragged into it with me. ACCESS

Nowadays we have passwords and codes for everything. We have a passcode for our phone, passwords to get in our computers, passwords for our Netflix account :); everything has a password. The other day I used my mom’s password to get into her account and I instantly thought of the word, access. Our passwords, passcodes, etc give us access to our devices and accounts. Ever since watching it, I’ve wanted to stomp grapes just like Lucy. As I put my feet down into the grapes, the initial feeling was slimy, not fun. But it was the experience right? As I began to “stomp” the grapes I realized it’s not as easy…

    At The Feet of Wisdom

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with a wonderful group of ladies. I was able to sit in their presence and soak up all the wisdom they had to share. Sometimes I think we don’t value the importance and benefits of gaining wisdom from others, those that are older and wiser and those have been where you are currently. When was the last time you sat at the feet of wisdom? I had a conversation with my cousin the other day about being open to receive and learn from others. She reminded me of how much we can learn from others just by…
