    Times of Reflection

I was in bible study the other night and we were reading/discussing Philemon. In our discussion, we talked about how Philemon’s slaves were going to have to go back to him after stealing and running from him. It’s never easy to take the road back to something from your past, which you’ve overcome and been forgiven. There’s a struggle in our minds, we mentally go back to that place. My experience of a father could be described by the following words, responsible, loving, giving, respectful, respected, diligent, understanding, and humble. I’ve had the pleasure of having a good experience with my father, however, there are so many people in the word that cannot say the same. I am grateful for my experience, but let me not paint the picture of perfection. We all make mistakes, parents…

    Forever Love

There is a gospel song that is out now entitled, Forever, by Jason Nelson. When I tell you I absolutely love this song! Initially hearing the song, it was just another nice song, but one day as I was riding in the car and I began to really listen to the lyrics. I realized as I listened, the song was like a love song from God to us. This song is a reminder of how much God loves us and how committed he is to us. How beautiful is it for someone to tell you they are committed to you and will love you forever no matter what. This is…
