I had a conversation with a friend recently and we were talking about homeownership. We spoke about it as a normal occurrence, that everyone did. What seemed normal to us we quickly realized was not as normal as we thought. We recognized that it was normal for us because of the people within our circle. The people within our circle were homeowners or moving to that point. Now, I recognize this isn’t the case for most people, however it made me aware of something, who’s in your circle? Your circle can cause you to elevate or deteriorate. Be mindful of those you spend the most time with, if they are not encouraging for you to build your dreams, why are you around them? Eventually if you stick around them, you will no longer have dreams or goals. On the note of dreams, be careful who you share your dreams with, not everyone has vision as you do. Only share with those that will continue to build you up and hold you accountable so that you’re able to make that dream come true. Now, don’t miss the point, this isn’t about homeownership specifically and whether or not you’ve gotten to that point, but what it is about is knowing who you spend the most time with and are those people helping or hurting you. So now, I ask the question again, Who’s in your circle?
