When I was younger, I was so excited to get my driver’s license so I could drive. Now that I am older, I don’t have to drive at all, lol. I remember when I was in high school, my mom and I went out of town to look for a prom dress for me. The drive was only 45 minutes away, so my mom had the great idea for me to get some practice driving on the highway. I don’t remember how far I got before I was “too sleepy” to drive and my mom had to take over. LOL. Fast forward, I went to college 3.5 hours away, then I moved 5 hours away from home. Needless to say, I learned to drive long distances, even though I don’t like it and many times get sleepy along the way. I was sharing this story with a friend the other day and laughed at myself. It’s amazing what you can do when you don’t have any other choice. You don’t know what you can do until you have to do it.
I think about us in our lives and how we question our capabilities, but God shows himself and we are able to do things that blow our own minds. I was reminded of Moses and how he questioned God when God called him to go free his people. You know how the story ended, God added his supernatural to Moses’ natural, and miracles occurred. All we have to do is trust God and do what he says.
I’m sharing this with you to encourage you that you can do anything with God. Don’t allow your fear to get in the way! Allow God to show you the way, you won’t know what you’re capable of doing until you have to do it. So go on and make that “thing” happen! God’s got you.
